about
I was born in Peru, March 1963, in the harbour town of Lima, Callao.
I moved to Sweden in 1972 with my mother and younger brother. I studied graphic arts and advertising illustration at RMI-Berghs School of Marketing & Publishing in Stockholm between 1990-92. I attended courses in sketching-technique at Åsö high school followed by courses in nude sketching and oil painting at Stockholm Art School in 1994.
I held my first exhibition in Stockholm October 1992, and have had several exhibitions since then in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Paris.
I have done some wall paintings, furniture design and publishing/advertising campaigns throughout the 90’s.
My style of painting is inspired by several different painters and artist from the early 20th-century, for example: Dalí, Max Ernst, Picasso and Magritte.
Creations from artists such as Edward Hooper, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Van Gogh have been a source of inspiration along with later modernistic artists as Andy Warhol, Lichtenstein and H R Giger.
My fantasy and open-minded character drives me on to continue, this is only the beginning... I have a lot of ideas waiting to be expressed.
